La Barca in Los Angeles

I had the combo meat burrito. My combo consisted of chili verde pork and chorizo with refried beans. My wife had the three chicken taco plate. The food was fantastic! I Wolfed down the burrito it was so damn good! My wife's tacos were equally good, but because it was so late she ate only one taco...they're huge. I highly recommend this taqueria just be prepare to wait on line.

The food is great and reasonably priced. As most restaurants alcoholic drinks are ridiculously priced.The place is a mostly busy and over crowded and lacs ventilation so you will walk out smelling like the food enjoyed :(

Since the first time my family came to eat at La Barca years ago We liked the food so much it’s one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles. It has a nice family environment, excellent service and tu can have a nice time.

Super fast kitchen and the food is very delicious! The service is excellent and the vibe is as expected for a restaurant called Casa Latina.

Wrong kids order, michelasa is not that great. Good environment, cozy, but for me the rice was burnt and very messy p re presentation.

The #happy #hour #mango #strawberry #margaritas are gr8. However, the cocido soup was over salted and only 2 pieces of meat were served in the large bowl. I had to use 4 lemons to get rid of the salt, which made the soup very lemony... I like lemon, so it was okay... The corn was too small, i wished more vegetables were included. Maybe bigger #mexican #bowls instead of #american #size #soup bowls... Definitely not worth waiting for... Will drive further for #authentic Mexican dishes...

Loved this place until I tried to order just now. My favorite dish has almost doubled in price. I know places are hurting with all that's going on but REALLY?. I won't ever be back. I don't spend my money on shady places that try to take advantage of their customers.

This place doesn’t have 1800+ reviews and 4.5 stars for no reason! the margaritas are so cheap and huge!!! the chicken enchilada is bombbbb too the sauce i don’t get it!??! and it’s like all really good prices. they got the music bumpin, everyone getting turnt, a good timmeee!

What a neat little hole in the wall. Good food, great service. Neat and clean. Not easy to see in traffic. A little gem of the neighborhood.

Nice lunch.Came here with office mates after a morning meeting, but had to wait 10 min. even with a 1 PM reservation. There were about 24+ in the party, and we were split up between 1 long table and 2 booths.They gave us chips and salsa, and you better like it hot, because the salsa comes one way: HOT & SPICY.I got the Chile Colorado, which came with chunks of beef in a red sauce.See photo.It came with rice and beans, and a small salad.Delicious. My dish came with 2 flour tortillas. Next time I will try their Margaritas. Definitely worth returning if I get back this side of town.Parking in the back was a little tight, and luckily I found street parking.

A little pricey for Mexican food but didn't disappoint. Wouldn't go back to.spend $75. But. All our food was good. The drinks were strong but made my stomach hurt the next morning. I had a Banana and peach Margarita. It was ok. The environment and customer service was excellent.

Really enjoyed the food! The decor is a little dated though. This restaurant has a huge parking lot behind the building.

A coworker and I found this place on Internet and we were very curious to try out the food we saw that it 4.5 star rating so we decided why not. Parking is in the back but you have to go around the building in order to find the parking directly behind a building. When we got there it was during happy hour so they were kind of busy the drinks came and I gotta say the margaritis is well worth the money. I had to carnitas were very tender kind of needed a little more flavor but overall good the beans are very creamy and soft the rice had a nice flavor to it the guacamole excellent. I saw its place Togo

Honestly the one in South Gate is so much better. The food was salty and the pace was too loud and crowded. The staff there are nice and will take good care of you quickly. The food could be better 😐.

Over priced and not the same as a few years ago what a waste of money

I celebrated my nomination today in this fine place. Well we enjoyed a astonishing evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for this successful celebration. The team helped in a very nice way, the food was appetizing and my friends were extremely thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

The steak is my favorite. The portions don't appear that large, but it's extremely rich food so you'll fill up quickly.

I've been going there with my father every since I was a child ( I'm 39 now ) and it still hasn't changed a bit, The food is great, they come at reasonable prices and the people that work there are very friendly and welcoming. Treat their customers like family. I can't tell you if their food is authentic or not because I've never been to Mexico but it's delicious. They so provide appetizers while you wait for your food.

The food is wonderful, the El Collosal Burrito is the best since that's all I eat when I go there and a strawberry margarita. The burrito was almost half the price, but nothing lasts forever. Great place.

Friendly and fast staff. I enjoyed the colossal burrito shared with my hubby. But I was served a drink that had a dead fly in it !!!! I almost puked seeing it. Check your drinks and food. Shouldnt have happened. They served me another one with no charge of course but really nasty to see in my drink.

Delicious food with giant portions! As soon as I set foot in the restaurant we were seated and drinks within minutes, very strong ones might I add. Burritos are freaking ginormous it was lunch and dinner. Parking lot in rear of building. This place is a must try believe me

So I went to Spain this summer to Barcelona and Ibiza and let me tell you the food here is better than I had in Spain!!! The Sangria is amazing so much flavor and I had the seafood paella and it was perfect!! Highly recommended coming here to eat!! Deff will come back!!

La Barca is a hole in the wall that I frequent allot. A super fun place with Amazing food and the Margaritas are off the chain. You must order the Colosso Burrito thats humongous. It could feed 3 people. Staff have been working their for years, and they are all super nice, and work really hard. It's always Busy so plan on at least an HOUR wait time.

The best margaritas, and chunky beef burrito Colorado! So tender...BIG CHUNKS. I always have to get a doogie bag so big n only $12

ABSOLUTELY HATED this place.HORRIBLE SERVICE.WOULD NOT recommend!We initially called to confirm drink specials for the margaritas. The lady told us that the post-covid19 reopening menu had not been changed and pricing and drink specials remained the same.We show show up and the chips were stale as if either OLD or had been RE-fried 2ce. And the service had been less than satisfactory. But what was REALLY disappointing was that when we got our bill it was waaayyyyy more than anticipated. The menu and pricing HAD indeed changed and when we brought it up the the waiter, he simply smirked and said; "But aur mènu has'nt chengged. Just thee pries"..Wow. Never felt so robbed in my life. The nerve.
